Oh man, I’ve been waiting for this! If you’re reading this, then you know Facebook Messenger is a wonderful tool for businesses to reach their customers to handle customer service, marketing, and all sorts of activities. Now, you can leverage the efforts you put into building your bot’s reach on your web site.
There are a few features missing (the plugin is in beta as of this writing). None of the following: Buy Button, Log in, or Location quick replies…but I have used the plugin, and it has really helped get people to start adopting Messenger in a real way. In my experience, this has been the problem. Users just don’t get it, and you’ll see people engage with the bot once. I mean one single conversational exchange…like pushing ‘Get Started’, or possibly making a selection from the main carousel that is displayed when a new user starts interacting with your bot.
